Sue Pullman

Sue Pullman is a professional Queensland artist specialising in wildlife, human form and landscape. Her work ranges from semi-abstract to contemporary and is expressed through oil, acrylic and watercolour.

This collection celebrates the beauty of the Mission Beach rainforest — the lush canopy of Licuala palms, exotic birds inhabiting dense greenery, and vegetation unique to the tropical environment.

Sue Pullman was awarded Honorary Lifetime Membership of Mission Arts in 2023 in recognition of her contribution to the arts and the Mission Beach creative community.

A celebration of the Mission Beach rainforest.

This collection draws on the lush canopy of Licuala palms, exotic birds, dense tropical vegetation and the distinctive atmosphere of the wet tropics.

Dappled light, heat, humidity and seasonal monsoons shape an ecosystem of extraordinary flora and fauna — and a landscape that continues to inspire artists across the Mission Beach region.

Come for the spirits. Stay for the art.
